With two high-power footprints , AMOS-17 Ku-band beams serve broadcast, data and telecom markets for SOHOs, SMEs and consumers in Africa and across the northern region of the Indian Ocean.

17 degrees east is a leading broadcast position for central and western Africa, with AMOS-17 Ku-1 beam providing extensive coverage stretching from south DRC to north of Senegal, with many TV platforms.

AMOS-17 Ku-2 beam provides excellent performance for maritime applications.

 

Simplification of the broadcasting chain is key to our customers, and AMOS-17 offers a unique benefit of using one Uplink to broadcast to both beams simultaneously
